On Sunday, July 2, 2017, the Hare Krishna Temple celebrated Snana-Yatra. Snana-Yatra is a wonderful festival, wherein Deities of Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balarama and Lady Subhadra are bathed amidst amazing kirtan and chanting! After the bathing ceremony (Snana-Yatra), Lord Jagannātha becomes “sick”. He is therefore removed to His private quarters, where no one can see Him until the grand Ratha-Yatra (Festival of India) festival!
