Community

Toronto’s Hare Krishna Centre provides several community-based services that help to positively engage everyone in our philosophy and culture and to help build a strong and vibrant community. These services are open to new and seasoned members of our community – there is something for everyone! See below for a list of free services and programs that are currently available:

PHILOSOPHY CLASSES
Every Friday, the Hare Krishna Centre offers Bhagavad-Gita classes to anyone who is interested in diving deeper in this ancient text. If you have ever wanted to study the Bhagavad-Gita in an interactive environment with fellow students then do not pass up this opportunity! Classes are part of the Bhakti Shastri Certificate program.  Please join us on Sundays at 4:30pm for enlivening discussions!

TUESDAY SANGAS (GATHERINGS)
Tuesdays at the Hare Krishna Centre provides the venue for a small gathering of spiritualists to examine and discuss various spiritual topics in a fun and interactive environment. The gathering is followed by some kirtan (musical chanting) and vegetarian dinner. Come join us for a spiritually stimulating evening every Tuesday at 6:30pm.

DRAMATIC PRESENTATIONS:
The Centre presents several dramas throughout the year across the Greater Toronto Area. Our unique
drama troupe continues to provide fun and exciting dramas through positive, spiritual themes. We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join as actors or to help with stage, sound and lighting.
