The forecast for this Sunday, April 26th is a balmy 25 degrees so it is fitting that this day will mark Food for Life day! On every last Sunday of the month, devotees prepare hot vegetarian meals (prasadam) at the temple and then hit the streets to distribute the meals to Toronto’s homeless!
A warm invitation goes out to one and all to please join us this Sunday for another ISKCON Toronto Food for Life Day! The official schedule is as follows:
11:30am to 1:30pm – Cut-up and Cooking at the Temple
1:30pm to 2:30pm – Packing the Meals
2:30pm to 4:00pm – Distribution to the Homeless
4:00pm – Arrive Back at Temple
