The Hare Krishna Temple will be celebrating Holi this Sunday, March 15th and an open invitation goes out to one and all to join us for this colourful event. We have been regularly announcing at our recent Sunday Feasts that there will be no throwing of coloured powders during the festival (it causes a very big mess) but that the festival would certainly be grand in nature.
This festival will present an opportunity for you and your family to learn about some of the spiritual stories associated with Holi and also experience some amazingly colourful kirtan!
The following is a schedule for Holi celebrations (subject to change):
6:00pm to 6:40pm – Arati
6:40pm to 6:50pm – Welcome and Announcements
6:50pm to 7:20pm – Class
7:20pm to 7:30pm – Dance Presentations
7:30pm to 8:00pm – “Kirtan for the Eyes”
8:00pm to 8:30pm – Arati
8:30pm – Prasadam
