As many devotees within Toronto’s growing Hare Krishna community may know, the temple has regularly facilitated classes, seminars and workshops over the last several years based on books like Bhagavad-Gita, Isopanisad, Nectar of Instruction and topics like Vaisnava Etiquette and the Yoga Ladder.
All of this has been orchestrated, arranged and facilitated by HG Brhat Mrdanga das. Having founded the Bhaktivedanta College of Education and Culture in July 1991, Brhat Mrdanga das has taught the formal Bhakti-Sastri Certification Course all over the world, including Toronto! Over the years, devotees here in New Remuna Dhama have developed a special bond built on spiritual care and guidance with Brhat Mrdanga das.
So it was with enthusiastic smiles that devotees recently learned that HG Brhat Mrdanga das has been approved for sannyasa initiation by ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission (GBC)! Brhat Mrdanga das has given so much to Toronto’s Hare Krishna community and so we wish him a heartfelt “Hare Krishna Congratulations”!
