Cooking for Krishna – Episode One

A little while back, the ISKCON Toronto Blog presented a poll that gave our visitors an opportunity to vote for what they thought would be some neat features which we were thinking of adding to the ISKCON Toronto Blog. A popular choice was “Online Cooking Demonstrations”.

With this in mind, the ISKCON Toronto Blog officially would like to introduce “Cooking for Krishna” a regular video series showing how to create sumptuous vegetarian meals! Once made, these preparations are offered to Lord Krishna and become “prasadam”, or sanctified food!

In our very first video (episode one), Shashank Parkhi, a trained chef and member of our ISKCON Toronto community, along with his wife Satyabhama devi dasi, shows us how to make a wonderful winter soup, mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables.

We hope you enjoy the video! Please feel free to comment to share your thoughts on our new video series, “Cooking for Krishna”.
