ISKCON Toronto would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Many guests visited our Temple on January 1st, 2024 to start the year on an auspicious note. Whether visiting during the day for Darshan of Sri Sri Radha Ksira-Chora Gopinatha or attending the evening program the Temple was packed throughout the day. Evening festivities commenced with a heartfelt ceremony honouring ISKCON Founder-Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada as well as offerings to Him from the Temple management and Sankirtan Team. We then had a beautiful dramatic presentation directed by HH Bhaktimarga Swami entitled “Witness Gopal” depicting the pastime of Sakshi Gopal. The program culminated with rocking kirtan as the altar opened for the 8:00pm Arati.
The large volume of visitors was unprecedented and we were delighted to see so many visitors; however, unfortunately, we were not adequately prepared to welcome so many guests. Please note that the ISKCON Toronto management has acknowledged this oversight and will be working sincerely to serve our guests in a better way. Please accept our heartfelt apologies.
