Kirtan Takes Over Yonge-Dundas Square
For one, incredible evening, as a pre-celebration for the Festival of India (Ratha-Yatra), the sublime sounds of kirtan took over the central hub of commercialism: Yonge-Dundas Square.  With kirtans lead by none other than Madhava das and Badha Hari das, the sounds bouncing off the downtown skyscrapers had never been so sweet!

A Weekend of Kirtan with HH B.B. Govinda Swami
It was a memorable weekend as over 50 Srila Prabhupada disciples who pioneered Krsna consciousness in Toronto came back for the 40th Anniversary Reunion of the installation of our beautiful Deities, Sri Sri Radha Ksira-Chora Gopinatha.  The weekend was highlighted by two nights of goosebump-inducing kirtan with HH B.B. Govinda Swami.

Nuit Blanche – Kirtan with an Artistic Twist
Who would have ever thought that Nuit Blanche, one of Toronto’s biggest festivals which draws over a million people in one night of contemporary art, would become the host of a 12-hour kirtan.  The atmosphere was electric as kirtaneers, led by Amala Kirtan das rocked the night with kirtan.  Close to 12,000 people passed through the kirtan over the course of the amazing night.
