On New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, Toronto’s Hare Krishna Temple will host our annual Srila Prabhupada Festival! Promising to be a great way to start the new year, the festival is usually one of the biggest of the year.
The festival will feature plenty of kirtan and a dramatic presentation by Bhaktimarga Swami, the schedule can be found on the poster below. There will be no better way to usher in the new year on an auspicious note!
We understand many visitors come to the Temple on this day to get the darshan of their Lordships on the first day of the calendar year. We are encouraging visitors whose main intention is darshan to visit between 7am and 3pm. This is in the interest of everyone’s safety and allows for a pleasant darshan experience as the crowd is expected to be large in the evening. There will also be a special kirtan from 5pm-6pm.
