Food for Life at Toronto Homeless Shelters
On December 14th, Krishna Club, a York University-based outreach program, facilitated another food for life distribution program to downtown homeless shelters. Volunteers prepped, cooked and packed 100 bio-degradable take-out containers with vegetarian meals (prasadam) and then transported everything downtown and personally handed meals out to the homeless on the street.
