His Grace Guru Das is one of the earliest disciples of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He became a devotee in the mid-1960s and was a key figure in spreading the Hare Krishna movement in the West.
