Our first major festival of the year, Gaura Purnima is fast approaching – Sunday, March 28, 2021. Gaura or Lord Chaitanya appeared in a small town in eastern India over 500 years ago to remind us of the timeless wisdom in the texts of Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad Gita. He encouraged everyone to educate themselves on the practicality of these teachings in the 21st century and to share this knowledge with others.
Last year Gaura Purnima was our last in-person festival before we switched to virtual events. This year the Temple remains closed though we have a string of events extending over the week with a climactic finish that we’d love for you to participate in! The virtual celebrations begin on Sunday the 21st and extend all the way to Sunday the 28th. Please see the beautiful poster attached for a detailed schedule.
Another way you can participate is by sending in your contributions via this FORM to continue supporting the upkeep of the Temple. As a special endeavor donors can receive a special prasadam package delivered to them after the festival.
All these events can be attended through Facebook and Zoom:
