Well, it took a few years, but we finally got the bell tower “Hare Krishna” sign outside out temple working! It may have gone unnoticed, but it’s been a few years that we have not had the sign working at night. :o(
When it was working, the words “Hare Krishna” would beam across the night sky over Avenue Road to all the thousands of cars and pedestrians passing by.
It took a bit of creative thinking, but the temple was able to figure out what the problem was (and how to get that high to fix it) and this week, on the auspicious evening of Govardhana Puja, the sign once again lit up much to the excitement of the devotees!
As we said, it might have gone unnoticed, but hopefully now that the sign is illuminated again, we can all bask in the nice glow of “Hare Krishna” as we enter the temple!
