Diwali and Govardhana Puja Darshan Visits

ISKCON Toronto will be celebrating Diwali on Saturday November 14th. The Temple will be open for special Darshan Visits from 11:30am – 5:30pm (pre booking is required, click HERE to book).
We will also be celebrating Govardhana Puja on Sunday November 15th. The Temple will be open for special Darshan Visits from 12:30pm – 5:30pm (pre booking is required, click HERE to book).
As per the COVID-19 protocols. This will be for short pre-booked Darshan visits only. We are strictly following the guidelines from Public Health so please stay home if anything on this poster is true for you.
The video at the end of this email provides an overview of the process but please review the below guidelines as well.
Please Note we are monitoring the COVID Situation and potential changes to related Government regulations. As such, we may decide to close the Temple on November 14th and 15th.
To ensure a pleasant visit, follow the below guidelines:
• Visitors are requested to co-operate with all COVID screening procedures
• Trained volunteers will be there to guide you through the visit-process so please follow their instructions
• Wear a mask at all times
• Follow social distancing norms
• No offering obeisances, only standing pranams are allowed
• Only non-perishable bhoga items are allowed and are to be offered in the designated drop-box, outside the temple
• The accessible areas of the Temple are limited to designated areas of the main floor
• No offering or lighting of lamps on incense
• No socializing, sitting on the floor, chanting or kirtan is allowed within the Temple premises.
• Leave the Temple promptly after taking Darshan or audience of the Deities
General guidelines being followed by the Temple are:
• The Temple will record your information (on the form)- name, phone number, email address for contact tracing purposes in the event of a COVID outbreak.
•Only individuals in one household can be included in a single booking, the quantity selected must reflect the total number of guests visiting the Temple.
• Latecomers will not be accommodated.
• Walk-ins will not be allowed under any circumstances.
• Automated kiosk can be used for donation and receipts will be emailed to you.
• A prasadam sweet will be provided once visitors exit from the Temple room; Govinda’s Dining Hall is also open for take-out  (Special Sunday Hours are 12pm -8pm) *subject to change.
