Snana Yatra

Chariot Fest 2026 is around the corner, and ISKCON Toronto warmly invites you to be part of a beautiful journey of devotion, culture, and spiritual celebration!

🌸 Snana Yatra – The Sacred Bathing Festival

🗓️ This Sunday | June 28, 2025, 5:30pm onwards
📍 ISKCON Toronto Temple | 243 Avenue Road

We joyfully begin the festivities with Snana Yatra, a deeply spiritual and joyous bathing ceremony of Lord Jagannatha, Lord Baladeva, and Subhadra Devi. The Lordships will be bathed with sacred substances like milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and fragrant waters, accompanied by beautiful kirtan and offerings.

This traditional festival marks the beginning of a divine sequence:
After the Snana Yatra, the Deities traditionally enter a period of rest (Anavasara), and the altar remains closed for two weeks… until.

🚩 On the day of Chariot FestLord Jagannatha reappears publicly on Yonge Street, offering His merciful darshan to thousands during the Grand Parade!
